No Coating No Coating When this option is chosen, no additional coatings will be applied to the piece. If the quantity is great enough, Newprint production may choose to apply an AQ coating to ensure the ink is protected from scuffing. The type of coating will be the matching finish to your paper selection. Silk (Matte) Lamination Silk Lamination The piece will be laminated with Silk Lamination to provide protection and structure. The lamination will go right to the edge of the piece with no lip, and so should not be used for an application where the item might be exposed to liquids. Most posters are 18" by 24" on 100lb Gloss Text weight paper. They are almost always printed in full colour on the front (4/0) and coated AQ. For additional stock choices or the best value on lower quantity orders (with a maximum size of 11" x 17"), please check out our 4-Colour Digital Posters.
