What are Gift Certificates?
Gift Certificates, also known as gift cards or gift vouchers, are typically issued by retailers or businesses to be given as gifts. Paper Options for Gift Certificates
To ensure the durability of your custom Gift Certificates, we print them on the cover paper. This is a more sturdy and longer-lasting option than the text paper. You don't want your customers’ Gift Vouchers to tear before they are able to use them.
Uncoated Paper
- Uncoated paper is the perfect option if you want to be able to write on your Gift Cards.

Linen Paper
- Has a textured finish that resembles fabric.
- Can be bright white or cream-white.

Barcodes And Numbering
You can have numbering or barcodes on your Gift Vouchers. You can also choose to have no barcodes and numbering, or to have a combination of both.
Numbering
Every Gift Certificate will be numbered in the same place. Each certificate can have the number in red or black. Both the position of the numbering and the starting number will be required before we start printing.
Barcodes
Each Gift Certificate will be printed with a unique barcode, either generated from a provided Excel sheet that contains the codes, or generated from a range of numbers (for example, barcodes that contain the numbers 00001-5000). The barcodes will be printed in black ink to ensure a clean read with a scanner.
Finishing Options
You can have straight cut corners or have them be rounded to a radius of 1/4". For the second option, the design should be done so there are no important elements near the edges. This is to ensure nothing gets cut off.
